Ayumi Hamasaki's Social Media Account Taken Over, Fans Angry





Female singer Ayumi Hamasaki has had a Twitter account which has been a means for her to share updates. However, his official account has now been taken over by the staff.



Reporting from Nikkan Sports via Tokyo Hive, Tuesday (27/10/2015), on October 26 2015, Ayumi staff posted a tweet, "This account will be managed and operated by Hamasaki Ayumi staff to send the latest information. We ask for your support."




They also stated, "Ayu herself can occasionally tweet." However, all previous tweets till now have been deleted. Hamasaki had more than one million followers as of October 26 at 6 p.m.






Many fans were angry with the sudden announcement. They left replies that included, "I oppose this! This is unforgivable," or, "To the people of avex, why did you delete all the tweets? Did you delete Ayu's efforts to connect with fans around the world for the last 5 years ? We want you to leave it." A few short sentences conveyed, "Uh... Why so suddenly?" or "Should you guys delete the tweet?"




Even so, the figure of Ayumi Hamasaki immediately took control of the Twitter account @ayu_19980408. There he said, "This is Ayu. In Fukuoka everyone, sorry for making you wait! When hit by strong winds or splashed with rain, this is where you can wake up a dream."




As the most popular singer from Japan, Ayumi Hamasaki has made quite a big contribution in filling in television anime theme songs. He is famous for performing the Inuyasha theme song. Apart from that, Ayumi was also involved in filling in the soundtrack for SHINOBI - Heart Under Blade and the Hollywood film adapted from the manga, Dragonball: Evolution
